The rot spreads outward from the contact point, destroying flesh progressively while causing extreme pain.

Cursed energy provides some resistance, sorcerers deteriorate slower than normal humans, but without treatment or removal of the contaminated tissue, the decay eventually becomes fatal.

Nobara drives a nail through a straw doll containing a piece of the target, blood, hair, anything organic, and the damage transfers directly to the targ... to transmit the damage through the blood connection back to both brothers. She weaponized her own wounds: the poison that was killing her became the conduit for the attack that killed them.
