Domainexpansions

A domain builds the sorcerer's innate technique into a closed space, where it no longer has to aim. Thirteen have been shown, including one that cannot hurt anybody and one nobody has finished.

Authentic Mutual Love

真贋相愛

Shingan Sōai

What makes Yuta's domain terrifying isn't one guaranteed-hit effect, it's the possibility of dozens. The environment is a field of cross-shaped pillars stretching to the horizon, every surface bristling with embedded katanas. One of Yuta's copied techniques powers the domain's sure-hit effect. All the rest are loaded randomly into the swords. Yuta doesn't know which sword holds which technique until he picks one up, adding an element of unpredictability that works in his favor, if even he doesn't know what's coming next, the opponent certainly can't prepare for it. The infinite supply of swords means Yuta never runs out of options. Each katana breaks after one use, but there's always another within arm's reach. The domain essentially turns Yuta's collection of copied abilities into a slot machine that always pays out something dangerous.

Chimera Shadow Garden

嵌合暗翳庭

Kangō An'eitei

Megumi's domain turns the entire battlefield into shadow. Liquid darkness floods the ground, coats every surface, and plunges the area into his territory. Within this space, his Ten Shadows technique operates without its usual constraints, instead of summoning one or two shikigami at a time, he can generate an army of shadow constructs simultaneously from any point in the domain. The shadow pool itself is dangerous terrain. Opponents lose solid footing as surfaces become semi-liquid darkness that Megumi can move through freely. Attacks can come from below, behind, from the walls, anywhere shadow exists, which is everywhere. The domain represents what Ten Shadows looks like without limits: not a sorcerer carefully managing a small roster of summons, but an environment where everything is a potential weapon.

Coffin of the Iron Mountain

蓋棺鉄囲山

Gaikan Tecchisen

Step inside Jogo's domain and you're standing in an active volcano. The ground is lava. The air is superheated. The temperature alone would kill most sorcerers before the guaranteed-hit effect even kicks in. It's an environment that reflects what Jogo is: a cursed spirit born from the primal human terror of eruptions and magma. The domain's sure-hit channels all that volcanic fury directly into the target. Combined with the environmental damage, it creates a kill box where survival requires either overwhelming the domain with a stronger one or having the raw cursed energy to endure conditions that would melt steel.

Deadly Sentencing

誅伏賜死

Chūbuku Shishi

Higuruma's domain doesn't try to kill you directly. It puts you on trial. The environment becomes a courtroom where Higuruma prosecutes and his shikigami Judgeman serves as judge. The target is accused of a real crime, presented with real evidence, and must defend themselves through argument rather than fighting. Violence is physically impossible inside the courtroom. No cursed energy attacks, no punching the prosecutor, no running away. The only options are to argue your case or accept the verdict. If found guilty, the sentence ranges from losing your cursed technique to death, manifested as the Executioner's Sword, a blade that kills in one confirmed hit. It's a domain that turns combat into law. Strength, speed, technique mastery, none of it matters against a well-prepared prosecution.

Horizon of the Captivating Skandha

蕩蘊平線

Tau'un Heisen

The cruelest visual joke in jujutsu: Dagon's domain looks like paradise. Endless tropical beach, crystal waters, perfect sky. Then the fish start coming. Death Swarm shikigami pour from the water with guaranteed-hit accuracy, and there is no cover on a flat beach. Every fish finds its target regardless of speed or evasion. The beauty is the point. Cursed spirits are born from fear, and there's something deeply unsettling about dying in a place that looks like vacation.

Idle Death Gamble

坐殺博徒

Zasatsu Bakuto

Hakari's domain is a pachinko machine. Literally. The environment becomes a gambling parlor, and Hakari has to hit the jackpot on the machine to gain his power-up. When the jackpot hits, and it hits more often than probability should allow. Hakari receives unlimited cursed energy and automatic reverse cursed technique for exactly four minutes and eleven seconds. During that window, Hakari is functionally immortal. His body regenerates from any wound instantly. Cut off his arm. It grows back. Stab him through the chest: the hole closes. The healing is automatic and continuous, requiring no conscious effort. He can take lethal damage every second for four minutes straight and walk out smiling. Consecutive jackpots extend the immortality window, and the domain's mechanics subtly favor Hakari's luck, making repeat hits more likely than pure chance would suggest.

Malevolent Shrine

伏魔御廚子

Fukuma Mizushi

Every other domain in jujutsu uses a barrier. Sukuna's doesn't. Malevolent Shrine manifests as an open Buddhist shrine that projects its guaranteed-hit effect across 200 meters of real, open space. No enclosed area, no trapped targets, just a 200-meter radius of continuous, unavoidable slashing. Within range, two attacks operate nonstop. Cleave adjusts its cutting power to each target's durability, ensuring optimal damage. Dismantle delivers a flat-rate slash. Everything in the radius, people, buildings, the ground itself, gets cut relentlessly from every angle. The barrierless design is a binding vow: Sukuna trades the defensive advantages of a closed domain for a dramatically strengthened sure-hit effect. This makes Malevolent Shrine impossible to counter through domain collision: the standard defense against domains, because there's no barrier to clash against. You either have your own domain strong enough to overpower the sure-hit, or you run.

Self-Embodiment of Perfection

自閉円頓裹

Jihei Endonka

Inside Mahito's domain, Idle Transfiguration is guaranteed to hit. That's the whole story. The domain traps the target in an enclosed space, and the sure-hit effect applies soul manipulation directly, no touching required, no defense possible, no counter available for anyone who can't directly protect their soul. For most targets, entering this domain is an automatic death sentence. Idle Transfiguration reshapes souls on contact, and the domain guarantees contact. The only thing that saved anyone from guaranteed soul manipulation was Yuji Itadori's presence: his ability to perceive and anchor his own soul gave him resistance that no other character possessed.

Threefold Affliction

三重疾苦

Shikkushikku Shikku

Yorozu's domain maximizes her Construction technique, allowing her to generate objects and weapons instantaneously in unlimited quantities. Within the enclosed space, everything Yorozu imagines becomes real the moment she thinks it: an endless stream of constructs that overwhelm through sheer volume. The domain turns Construction from a careful, energy-intensive technique into a rapid-fire arsenal. Swords, armor, insects, barriers, whatever the situation demands, materialized instantly.

Time Cell Moon Palace

時胞月宮殿

Jihō Gekkyūden

Naoya's domain manipulates time perception within its boundaries. The lunar environment distorts how targets experience the passage of time, making their reactions lag behind reality. For Naoya, whose entire fighting style was built on speed: the temporal advantage turns an already fast fighter into something approaching untouchable. Naoya developed this domain after dying and being reborn as a vengeful cursed spirit. His grudge against Maki fueled an evolution that gave him capabilities he never had as a human sorcerer.

Unlimited Void

無量空処

Muryōkūsho

Gojo's domain fills the target's mind with everything. Not a specific attack, not a targeted assault, everything. Infinite sensory information, infinite knowledge, infinite perception, all at once. The human brain can't process infinite input, so it shuts down. Targets are physically and mentally paralyzed, unable to act, unable to think, unable to do anything except experience the overwhelming weight of receiving all information simultaneously. It's the most elegant domain in the series. No fire, no slashing, no monsters, just too much consciousness. The mind overwhelms itself.

Womb Profusion

胎蔵遍野

Taizō Hen'ya

Kenjaku's domain fills the enclosed space with his entire collection of absorbed cursed spirits, every spirit consumed through Cursed Spirit Manipulation, pressing in from all sides simultaneously. The guaranteed-hit effect means the spirits' attacks can't be dodged or blocked through conventional means. The target faces hundreds of entities at once with no way to avoid any of them. The domain's power scales with the size of Kenjaku's collection, which includes spirits accumulated across multiple lifetimes and bodies. After inheriting Geto's army of four thousand-plus spirits, Womb Profusion became one of the most quantitatively overwhelming domains in existence.
