What happens
Megumi opens
Chimera Shadow GardenChimera Shadow GardenDomain ExpansionMegumi's domain turns the entire battlefield into shadow. Liquid darkness floods the ground, coats every surface, and plunges the area into his territory. Within this space, his Te... and Reggie answers with Hollow Wicker Basket, the older form of Simple Domain, which cancels a domain's guaranteed hit. It does not help, because Megumi's domain has never had one. What it has instead is the Ten Shadows Technique running at a hundred and twenty percent: toads coming up out of the floor, two shadow clones of himself, and something waiting inside Reggie's own shadow.
Then Max Elephant lands on both of them. Megumi weighs sixty kilos and is holding two and a half tonnes over his head. Reggie's fibula and heel go and he sinks into the liquid shadow, where there is no buoyancy and no air.
He gets back out by dismissing the cars he had been using as ballast, then plays the ace he has been saving, a thirty tonne two storey house. It arrives at the same moment Megumi arrives behind him underwater, and the weight he brought becomes the thing holding him down.
Reggie has his Kogane transfer all forty one of his points before he dies, calls it a good deed on his way out, and tells Megumi to let fate play with him and then die a fool.
Takaba, elsewhere, cannot be hurt, and nobody involved understands why.
