Description
The harder you hit Awasaka, the less damage you do. Light taps at full force. Haymakers at zero. The technique literally inverts the power of incoming attacks, creating a paradox where the strongest fighters deal the least damage.
The counter is embarrassingly simple once you figure it out: hit gently. A soft tap carries full force against Awasaka. The technique punishes power and rewards restraint, which makes it incredibly effective against opponents who don't understand what's happening, and nearly useless against anyone who does.
Usage in combat
Awasaka frustrated multiple attackers during Shibuya by being seemingly invincible. Sorcerers landed their strongest techniques and watched him shrug them off, not realizing that every powerful hit was being converted to a love tap.
Once the inversion mechanic was deduced, fighting Awasaka became the easiest task on the battlefield. You just had to hit like you didn't mean it. The technique is a perfect example of how knowledge is the real weapon in jujutsu: an ability that's near-invincible in secrecy becomes near-useless once exposed.
