Description
Shigemo's face has marks on it. Each mark represents stored luck, instances of good fortune accumulated over his life. When Shigemo would otherwise die, a mark disappears and something improbable saves him. A weapon misses by millimeters. A floor collapses at exactly the right time. A lethal blow lands slightly off-target.
Shigemo doesn't know how his technique works. He doesn't control it. He just thinks he's lucky. The marks are finite, when they're gone, so is the luck.
Usage in combat
During Shibuya, Shigemo survived encounters that should have killed him multiple times. Each near-death burned another facial mark, and each survival seemed like coincidence to everyone around him, including Shigemo himself.
The technique is a countdown disguised as a blessing. Each miraculous escape brings Shigemo closer to the moment when the marks run out and probability catches up. Against truly powerful opponents, Miracles doesn't prevent death. It delays it.
