Kaichi provides mid-range offensive capability, cursed energy strikes that let Ino fight at a distance where he can control spacing before committing to close combat. It's his opening move in most fights, the first beast he calls because it lets him assess the situation from relative safety.

Against Ogami during Shibuya, the ranged attacks kept both Ogami and her grandson at bay long enough for Ino to evaluate their techniques. The beast's real value is tactical. It buys time and information.
