What happens
Four men who graduated from the same junior high die in their own doorways. 
Akari NittaAkari NittaHumanAn auxiliary manager at Jujutsu High, which means she handles the logistics nobody writes songs about: window cleanup, transport, and keeping curtains up while sorcerers do the lou... drives the first years out to Saitama, where a group of local delinquents bow politely, not to Nobara's aura but to Megumi, who went to school here and apparently beat up every punk in the district.
The thread is Yasohachi Bridge, a suicide spot where students used to jump on a dare. Four boys did it twenty years ago and all four are now dead. Then a former classmate turns up to say her own front door has started standing open at night, and that Megumi's sister Tsumiki was on the bridge with her.
Megumi calls for backup, is told there is none to spare, and tries to send his friends home so he can go alone. They follow him anyway. Tsumiki has been asleep under a curse for years, and whatever is under that bridge can reach her.
It has an innate domain rather than a barrier, so getting inside means meeting its conditions: at night, from below, across the water. All three of them cross.
