A thousand years ago, Sukuna was a jujutsu sorcerer so powerful that other sorcerers of the golden age couldn't defeat him even working together. His cursed tec... after swallowing a cursed finger to save his friends. Yuji's defining trait isn't his superhuman physical ability or his connection to the King of Curses, it's his stubbornness about human life. He believes every person deserves a proper death, surrounded by people who care about them.

That conviction gets tested relentlessly. Yuji watches Junpei die because of MahitoMahitoSpecial Grade · Cursed SpiritA cursed spirit born from humanity's hatred and fear of each other. His cursed tec... uses his body to massacre civilians in Shibuya. Every loss carves deeper into someone who started the series as a cheerful kid with good reflexes and a dying grandfather's last wish.

What makes Yuji dangerous in combat isn't technique. He had no innate cursed technique for most of the series. It's his ability to strike at the soul level, his relentless physicality, and a pain tolerance that borders on inhuman. He fights like someone who's already accepted that the fight might kill him, which makes him very difficult to intimidate.
