What happens

Megumi, dying, explains the Ten Shadows Technique to Shigemo while walking away from him, which is not a courtesy. The last shikigami in the set has never been tamed, and the ritual to call it requires a second person present to take part in the exorcism. Hundreds of years ago a head of the Zenin clan used it to kill himself and the head of the Gojo clan together.

Mahoraga comes out of the shell. Megumi apologises to Yuji, wishes Shigemo luck, and is swatted into a building, suspended between life and death for as long as the ritual runs.
