What happens
Megumi is alone against a
Toji FushiguroToji FushiguroHumanThe Sorcerer Killer. Born into the Zenin clan with a Heavenly Restriction that traded every drop of cursed energy for a perfected physical body. Toji couldn't see curses, couldn't ... with no memory and no reason to stop. Inumaki has cleared the street of everything else. Megumi reaches for Divine Dog Totality, flinches, and gets Rabbit Escape instead, which does no damage and only buys distance. Even that fails. Toji throws Playful Cloud into the air, stamps hard enough to break the road apart, and flicks the debris through every rabbit with his fingers before the staff comes back down.
Elsewhere, Kusakabe walks Panda in circles on purpose, having no intention of dying against the people who sealed Gojo and no intention of being alone in Shibuya either. Two of Geto's former commanders find them and politely request a surrender. He asks them to explain their motives at length.
At a toll gate on the expressway, Yaga stands guard over Shoko, the only person in the country who can heal with reverse cursed technique and therefore the highest value target in the city. Ijichi and Ino are both alive because of her.
Megumi runs, takes a truck, and gets clear on Nue, knowing his one real advantage is that Shoko is somewhere out there in the dark.
