What happens
Yaga is designated special grade and sentenced, because his cursed corpses hold their own cursed energy and the higher ups can see an army in that. He goes anyway, after telling 
TakeruTakeruCursed Corpse he is away on a long job.
TakeruTakeruCursed Corpse was built out of a dead nephew's soul information for a sister who could not stop grieving. When she saw him jab a thumb at his own chest and call himself a genius, she got out of the wheelchair and crawled to him. Kusakabe, who owes Yaga for that, cuts Panda loose from the trap set to draw Yaga out.
Gakuganji is the one they send. Yaga breaks his guitar and takes two deep cuts across the chest, and then explains the method while he is dying. Soul information copied from a body, three highly compatible souls in one core so that they observe each other into self awareness, and three months before the corpse supplies its own cursed energy. He tells Gakuganji he is handing the secret over as a curse.
Panda comes through the trees too late, will not fight the man who killed him, and asks him to remember that pandas can cry too.
